WIP Wednesday
It's been two-and-a-half weeks now, since I went back to work. And it's been a rough two-and-a-half weeks when it comes to sewing or doing any other kind of project. I'd forgotten how difficult it sometimes is to find the energy, let alone the time, to work on projects in the evening. Seriously. Mental work is exhausting!
A couple members from our OKC Modern Quilt Guild will be doing some presentations about the guild. We decided it'd be a great help to have some examples of modern blocks to take along and show. I've been working on some, and here's one that I hope you'll agree...is MODERN!

I still need to hand-stitch the binding, but I really love the simplicity of it. In fact, it has me thinking about making a wall-hanging of some sort, but I just can't quite picture what I want it to look like. I'd love to do something improv, but I'm not good at random. Planned random I can handle, random random? Not so much.Have you ever done a truly impov project? Was it truly improv or did you have a plan first?
