Summer Tee
I briefly talked about this quilt when I participated in the Around the World Blog Hop last month.
As I mentioned in that post, my inspiration was a boys' t-shirt that I saw in the toddler section of a department store. I agonized over just the right shades of blue and green.
I quilted straight lines about one-half inch apart, with tone on tone thread (the black on black was the hardest to see) and chose a simple, but large, polka-dot fabric for the back.
And I love, love, love the black and white striped binding.
If you're in the Oklahoma City area, it's on display as part of the OKC Modern Quilt Guild's Quilt Show at the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond thru October 30th.
