A New Year
I really wanted to start the new year with a re-commitment to blogging. It's 11:55 PM and I am should be stitching the binding on a quilt that I have to deliver tomorrow morning for the OKC Modern Quilt Guild's display at the OKC Winter Quilt Show. The last few months have been too busy for my liking and I'm hoping to change that in the coming year. There are so many Quilt-alongs, Sew-alongs, Read-alongs, and other worthwhile groups and clubs that pop up this time of year. In fact, my sister just posted an invitation to join a group based on the book "The Happiness Project" on Facebook. It's so tempting to join with friends or be "part of the group", but I know those activities aren't where my focus needs to be this year. So, I'm adopting a saying that I often hear from my husband:I have a few other resolutions and goals for the year, but now I really need to get that binding done. What's your motto for 2016?
