Wedding Quilt for Meg and Dan

It's been four months since my niece's wedding.  With preparations and the holidays, my mom and I just didn't get her quilt done. Meg and Dan passed through Oklahoma a week ago and they finally received it!

I think it was at Thanksgiving when we were discussing wedding details that we let Meg know that her grandma and I were going to make a quilt for her and we really wanted to know what colors she would like. She ended up going online and calling Dan and the two of them decided what fabric they would like. They happened to choose Happy-Go-Lucky by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics.

We chose the pattern Spin Cycle by Cluck, Cluck Sew and we couldn't be happier with it.

Mom cut and pieced the quilt and I quilted it. I'm pretty sure I got the better end of the deal.

I quilted a "Meg and Dan" on the edge. I wonder when they'll notice?
