Unfinished Project #29 - Pinwheel Quilt

Okay, so I made a decision on Unfinished Project #29... Pinwheels! Also known as whirlygigs or windmills. I saw one somewhere online in pastels and really liked it. Let's hope I can pull it off. There is a LOT of piecing.

I started with a bunch of 4 inch squares...and then cut them in half.

 About 3 hours later, I had 560 of these!

And here's my first block! A lot easier sewing than Ithought it would be. And fun! I just have to payattention to my outline and check off each blockone at a time. Slow and steady wins the race....
